May Santa gives you the same :p

I hope you all get tons of monitors. This is how I keep on top of everything going on on social networks.

The Windows on my iMac are, from the left:

1. Quora.
2. Hacker News.
3. Google+.
4. Gmail.
5. Techmeme.
5b (hidden): Spotify.
5c (hidden): Skype.
6. Facebook.
7. Salesforce Chatter.
8. Twitter.

On the iPad: StreamBoard.
On the iPhone: Teleportd.
On the MacBook Air: AngelList.
On the Vizio 65-inch TV: Apple TV or Comcast or Xbox.

All of these windows stream and change in real time.

The microphones are Blue Microphones (my favorite is the Baby Bottle on the left).

This system absolutely rocks and I feel so fortunate to be able to afford it. I remember seeing multiple monitor systems at my geek friends rooms and feeling so jealous that I couldn't afford them.

This has made me a lot more productive although I'm still horrible at answering email. I do read every single email, though.

Anyway, hope Santa brings you all more monitors. I've decided you can't have enough.

Oh, off screen I have a Google Chromebook and a Toshiba Tablet, along with a few other phones, but I figure I'd only include those screens I regularly use.

Facebook timeline

After months of slow, gradual rollout, Facebook Timeline is now available to all users.

The Timeline is a radical redesign of Facebook‘s user profile pages, introduced at Facebook’s F8 conference in September. Instead of merely listing your interests and personal info, the Timeline shows a detailed overview of your life on Facebook, with the ability to check out what you’ve been out to at a particular point in time.

SEE ALSO: Facebook Timeline: The Complete Guide

Timeline comes with a new tool called the Activity Log, which enables you to finely tune what appears on your Timeline; you can “promote” a post to featured status, you can hide it from the Timeline or delete it altogether.

Like all major Facebook redesigns, Timeline was greeted with a fair share of criticism. Some users were concerned about Facebook’s request that users add even more personal info, as well as the fact that Timeline makes this info easily accessible, which could lead to identity theft.

The good news is that Facebook is implementing a seven day grace period, where you can review anything that appears on the timeline and decide whether you want anyone to see it. However, once you upgrade to Timeline, that new profile will “go live” at the end of the seven-day review period.

As of today, Timeline will also be available on Android devices as well as the mobile version of Facebook – m.facebook.com.

BMW 328 Hommage

the German company BMW attracted the attention of visitors with an impressive concept car.
The car was inspired by the legendary Model 328, for which we have noted that the age of 75 years, but it has lots of retro elements, it is equipped with all sorts of modern technology. So-called Hommage concept BMW 328 is equipped with 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, which does not mention details, but thanks to its low weight of only 780 kg. The car probably has a phenomenal dynamics.
In the design concept in a very good way retro lines are combined with classical forms, but unfortunately it will remain only a demonstration vehicle and will hardly ever be placed on the conveyor.
